Wesley D. Perry

Wesley D. Perry, 80, of Peoria passed away at 2:41 am, Friday August 3, 2018, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on February 26, 1938 in Beardstown, IL the son of the late John and Ruth Green Perry.  He married Lotus Wilson on October 7, 1978, in Peoria.  She passed away on November 30, 2008.  One daughter Linda Perry and one son Harold Wilson also preceded him in death.

Surviving are one son Tom Perry (Bryan Norris) of Peoria, three daughters Sherry Hansen, Penny Nixon and Tammy Wilson.  Also surviving are several grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Also surviving are two brothers and four sisters.

He worked at Laborers Local 165 for 30 years, His true love and passion his entire life was commercial fishing.  He enjoyed a cold Budweiser in hand while watching a St. Louis Cardinals game and was an avid gardener.

Cremation rites have been accorded.  A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, August 10, 2018, from 3:00pm until 7:00pm at Eagles Lodge, 704 South East Lane in Peoria. To share a memory with his family, visit www.peoriafuneral.com.
