William Kenneth Anderson 73 of Peoria, IL peacefully passed away on Thursday March 4, 2021 in End of Life Care, at OSF, Peoria due to terminal stage lung cancer.

He was born on September 29,1947 to James William Anderson and Geraldine Sanders Joos in Palmer, Tennessee. Preceding him in death were his father and mother, two brothers, Jerry Cleek of Peoria, IL, and Richard Cleek of Peoria.

Surviving are his son William Kenneth Anderson II. (Stacy Anderson) of Eureka, IL, two sisters, Peggy Hummel of Pekin, IL and Kim Foraker of Washington, IL, his partner Ann Milestone of Peoria, IL, he had many children, grand-children, and great-grandchildren.

William served at the Base Brig, Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton, CA. He received Gratitude of Mention at the Peoria County Police Department "National Police Week" banquet for assisting in saving the life of Officer Means. He was involved with the Native American Church and Campgrounds. He loved listening to Rhythm and Blues, Blue-Grass, Jazz and Native American Music. He also attended Native American Pow-Wows.

Cremation rites have been accorded. Celebration of Life will be scheduled for a later time.
