William "Bill" "Jody" Jenkins, 65, of Oakhill, IL passed away on Sunday March 9, 2025, at the emergency room of Carle Health Methodist Hospital in Peoria, IL.
He was born on October 27, 1959, in Oakhill to William and Dorothy Pirog Jenkins. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Ronald Jenkins.
Bill is survived by two daughters, Hailey Jenkins and MacKenzie Jenkins both of Brimfield, IL; two sisters, Nancy (Becky Schroeder) Jenkins of Morton, IL, and Linn (Alan) Rynearson of Oakhill; one sister-in-law, Nancy Jenkins of Brimfield, IL; one nephew, Josh (Debbie) Rynearson of Oakhill; and one niece, Jennifer (Chris) Lesones of Yates City, IL. Also surviving are several great-nieces and great nephews.
William dedicated many years of his life to Wheelworx North in Pekin, IL, until his well-deserved retirement in 2024. A true lover of the outdoors, he found joy in fishing and mushroom hunting alongside his family and friends. Known for his warm and inviting spirit, William never met a stranger; his kindness extended to everyone he encountered, always ready to lend a helping hand. Above all, he was the fun-loving, goofy dad who brought laughter and joy to his children's lives.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A time to celebrate his life will be Sunday, March 23, 2025 at the Brimfield American Legion from 1 pm until 5 pm.
