William L Maule

William L. Maule, 76, of Bartonville passed away at 7:14am Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at his residence after a battle with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). He was born on January 1, 1939 in Marlington, WV the son of William L. and Virginia A. Hiner Maule. He married Elizabeth "Shannon" Titus on September 14, 1961 in Peoria, IL. Surviving are his wife of Bartonville; one daughter Heather (Steven) Heil of Keller, TX, one grandson Jack of Keller, TX; one granddaughter Leah Heil of Harker Heights, TX. Also surviving are one niece Stephanie (Will) Rainwater of Columbia, MD; one nephew John (Jennifer) Barlett of State College, PA as well as two sisters Margaret Barlett of Ellicott City, MD and Stephanie Kalin of Ellicott City, MD. Further surviving is one brother in law Jason Titus of Laguna Niguel, CA. Bill was a U.S. Air Force Veteran being honorably discharged on December 4, 1962. He worked for Office Maxx for many years, last working in the Peoria store before his retirement. He later worked part time at the Wayne A. Downing airport driving the shuttle for those traveling, as well as Uftring Chevrolet as a valet driver. Bill was a devoted member of United Presbyterian Church of Peoria where he served as an Elder and Deacon as well as an Emeritus Member of the properties committee. Cremation Rites have been accorded. A time to celebrate Bill's life will be 11am Friday, August 14, 2015 at United Presbyterian Church 2400 N. Northmoor Rd in Peoria. Rev. Dr. Stephen Mckinney-Whitaker will officiate. Inurnment will be in the Church Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the building and grounds fund at his church or to Muscular Dystrophy Association.
