William A. Sanders

William A. Sanders, 60, of Metamora, IL died unexpectedly at his home on Monday, March 30, 2015. William was born March 15, 1955 in Fort Madison, Iowa the son of Henry F. and Louise (Sara Kramer) Sanders. He married Martha E. Tidey on August 20, 2010, in Metamora. He is survived by his wife Martha and siblings John Sanders of Ft. Myers, FL, Steve (Laura) Sanders of Wever, IA, Tom (Patti) Sanders, Charles (Millicent) Sanders, and Barbara (James) Perley, all of Metamora, IL. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. His parents and one sister, Sandy Cullen, preceded Bill in death. Bill served in the United States Navy from 1978 to 1982. He worked for many years as a welder, both in Ft. Madison, IA and Peoria, IL. Cremation has been accorded. Graveside services will be at noon on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Hillcrest Cemetery in Ft. Madison, Iowa, with Pastor Pete Hagglund officiating. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your charity of choice.
