Charles A. Driskell Jr., 67, of Peoria, IL, passed away at 5:10 p.m. on Monday, March 18, 2024, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

He was born on February 23, 1957, in Peoria, the son of Charles and Lois Kennedy Driskell Sr.

Surviving are his sister, Mary Brownlee of Creve Coeur, IL; two nieces, Jennifer Metz of Bartonville, IL and Lisa Metz of Creve Coeur; two great nieces, Renee Ferguson and Cheyenne Metz of Peoria; four great-nephews, Seth Metz, Canaan Metz, Grant Metz and Grayson Metz; one great-great nephew, Reese Metz; and a host of cousins, second and third cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father Charles A. Sr. in 2004, his mother Lois in 2008, his brother Jack in 2005, and his infant brother Mark in 1958.

Chuck was a bartender for most of his life and enjoyed it tremendously.

While there will be no public services, Chuck’s family will privately celebrate his life. His remains will be placed in Springdale Cemetery at a later date.
