Daniel L. Whited Sr. 72, of Peoria, IL passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2023, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

He was born on February 22, 1951, in Peoria the son of Richard and Vada Billingsley Whited. He is survived by one son Daniel L Whited Jr., three grandchildren and one great grandchild.

He worked as a laborer last working for Midwest Construction in Bartonville, IL

His personal interests were a reflection of his vibrant and fascinating personality. Among his favorite pastimes, he immensely enjoyed watching John Wayne and Bruce Lee movies, a fact that showcased his fondness for classic heroes. Daniel found great joy in his boating escapes, a testament to his adventurous spirit. His passion for country music and yearly family reunions showcased his deeply rooted love for family tradition and culture.

Daniel spent many years as a Volunteer Fireman for Limestone Fire Protection District where his dedication to helping others was a testament to his giving personality.

Cremation rites have been accorded. Affordable Funeral & Cremation services of Central Illinois is assisting the family with arrangements.
