Deborah Meier

Deborah Aileen Boundy Meier died at 12:10pm on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at home surrounded by her loving family.  She was born on December 24,1949 in Peoria to Walter R. Boundy and Joyce Aileen Covey Boundy.  She is preceded in death by her parents. 

Deb married Jerry B. Meier in 1985 in Peoria, IL.  He survives.  She is also survived by her children, Jennifer Meyer and James D. Meyer, both of Peoria Heights, stepsons Todd Meier (Ann) of Mishawaka, IN and Aaron Meier (Frieda) of Chicago, IL and her brother, Rick Boundy (Kay) of Green Valley, AZ.  She also leaves behind 7 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.  

Deb graduated from East Peoria High School and Summa Cum Laude from Bradley University.  She worked many years as a Registered Dietician.  She was an avid traveler, poker, euchre and Mahjong player. As a member of P.E.O. Chapter R, she enjoyed her P.E.O. sisters and its mission.

Debby, a fine gal, always thought she was a late bloomer having started college, and her businesses later in life.  Per her last wishes, she would love all to bring a flower and/or donate to the American Cancer Society in her name.  

A celebration of her life will be held at her home on Saturday March 20,2021 from 1 PM to 4 PM to say farewell along with the rest of her family and friends.
