Erick Luncsford

Erick Colton Luncsford, of Trivoli, IL, passed away unexpectedly on September 9, 2023, at the young age of 33. Born on February 21, 1990, in Peoria, IL, Erick was a devoted son, father, brother and loyal friend.

Erick was known for his adventurous spirit and his passion for life. His enthusiasm was infectious, and he had a unique ability to make every day feel like a new adventure. He was a skilled boilermaker in the construction industry, where he took pride in his work and enjoyed the camaraderie of his colleagues. Erick's love for life was evident in his hobbies as well. He had a passion for fishing, a fascination with knives, and a knack for working on vehicles and remodeling homes.

Despite his sudden passing, Erick's memory will live on in the joy and laughter he brought to those who knew him. His warm smile, fun-loving personality, and zest for life will forever be remembered and cherished by his loved ones. While Erick's absence will be deeply felt, his friends and family will find comfort in remembering the joy and laughter he brought into their lives

Erick is survived by his loving father, Richard Luncsford, who provided unwavering support throughout his life. Their bond was a source of strength and comfort, and their shared memories will be treasured forever. Erick also leaves behind his son, Colton Vance, and his daughter, Ellaina Vance, both of Yates City, IL, and his brother, Austin Luncsford of Trivoli. His mother, Diane Waldbeesser Luncsford, preceded him in death in 2022.

Following Erick's wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. In the spirit of celebrating Erick's life, a memorial service and reception will be held at a later date. Friends and family will gather to share stories and memories, honoring Erick in a manner that truly reflects his adventurous spirit and love for life.
