James Michael Roberts, 54, of Peoria, IL passed away at 1:34 pm on Friday, August 16, 2019 at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria.

James was born on January 29, 1965 in Peoria, IL to John and Sue Roberts on January 29, 1965.

Surviving are his third wife Ping Huang of Peoria; daughter Jessica and son Drift both of Peoria County; father John Roberts of Pekin, IL; sister Shelly Hutton of Australia; and brother John Roberts of Peoria County.

James worked as a landscaper for the Peoria Park District for many years until he was forced to retire to become sole care giver for his ailing father and handicapped daughter. James was a hard worker and was always ready and willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. James had battled metastatic lung cancer for the past two and a half years and was dearly loved by his family and friends.
