James "Jimbo" Clingan Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce that James "Jimbo" Clingan, age 47, our beloved son, brother, father, and friend passed away Monday, January 2, 2023, while in hospice care.

Jimbo will be missed dearly by his dad, James Clingan, Sr, Belleville, MI, his sisters Sheila (Watkins) Washington, IL, and Michelle (Minnix) Peoria Heights, IL, his sons, Tyson, Drew and Zach, Dunlap, IL, his loving Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and many great friends.

Jimbo was an avid Michigan and St Louis Cardinals fan. He enjoyed watching all sports but especially watching his sons play. JImbo was so very proud of his boys and loved them dearly.

We take comfort in knowing he is in the arms of his loving mom, Carol, whom he missed dearly.

A celebration of life will be Friday, February 3, 2023 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Stoney Creek Hotel, 101 Mariners Way, East Peoria, IL 61611. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made on behalf of his sons Tyson, Drew and Zach to their mother, Felicia Clingan, 2412 W Molly Ln, Dunlap, IL 61525.
