Judith (Lofthouse) Joiner

Peoria-Judith Ann (Gibbs) Joiner 72 of Peoria, IL passed away at 11:45 am Friday,  March 13, 2020, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 14, 1947, in Peoria to Leroy G. and Virginia I. Lemons Lofthouse.

She is survived by her husband Merle Joiner of Peoria; and her daughter's  Regina  A. (Steve) of Peoria; Jennifer (Jesse) of Marquette Heights; Two step son's Timothy Joiner of Joliet and Merle (Brandy) Joiner of Oklahoma. 5 sister's; Suzanne R. Morgan of Peoria; Terrie  L. Teufel of Peoria; Cheryl J. (Darryl) Purkel of Bartonville; Christina (Jack) Craddock of Peoria; 1 Brother Ronald J. (Sue) Foster of Peoria. Grandchildren  Greg, Danielle, Shannon,  Brandon, Kurtis, Dominick, Courtney, Kolten, Abigail, Jesse III , Dakota, Stephanie, Alex.  Several great-grand children. She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Norman E. Gibbs; two son's Tony A. Gibbs; Troy E. Gibbs and 1 sister Sandy K. Lofthouse. 

She worked in several area restaurants as a waitress;  Marshall's, P.A.R.C, OSF Hospital as a  Phlebotomist and most recently enjoyed being a homemaker.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Life has been postponed and will be announced. Memorials  may be made to OSF Healthcare Hospice 8630 IL.
