Kathy Speiden

Kathy Speiden was an incredible wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She suddenly left the world on June 18, 2022, at age 67.

She was born to Orville and Marjorie West on August 27, 1954. Kathy was a proud graduate of Peoria High School, class of 1972. She worked at Sports Services and MC Sporting Good for many years. In 1983 she married her husband, Ralph, and together they had one son, Ryan.

Kathy loved spending time reading and with nature. She was a skilled gardener and filled her yard with various plants and flowers. Above all, Kathy valued her time with her sisses, nieces and nephews, grandchildren, daughter-in-law, son, and husband.

Kathy enjoyed going on family vacations whenever the opportunity presented itself. She was able to travel to most of the states. While doing so, she enjoyed theme parks and the beautiful landscapes throughout the country.

She was a caring, energetic, and compassionate woman. She was constantly in her family's corner and was willing to do anything for them. If the family was in need, she was always there. She will be remembered for her joy, kindness, and her love.

A time to gather with her family will be held at Mason-White Funeral Home on Sunday, August 14, 2022, from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm. At 3:00 pm friends and family will share their memories of Kathy. Light refreshments will be provided.
