Keith Wayne Dennison, 67, of rural Galva, IL, died Saturday, June 18, 2022, after drowning with his brother Steve while on a weekend adventure of camping and fishing outside of Altona, IL, at a farm pond.
He was born February 22, 1955, in Kewanee, IL, to George Earl and Jessie Mae (Cantwell) Dennison. He went to school and then enlisted with the United States Army, stationed in Germany. He then attended Black Hawk College. He worked and retired from John Deere.
Keith loved spending time with his friends and family. He enjoyed mowing his yard a couple of times a week, planting plants, vegetable gardens, tractor rides, being a kid and riding his toys, camping, and fishing.
Keith is survived by his daughters Jessical (Jason) Dop of Reasnor, IA; Leanna (Justin) Rasmusson of Monroe, IA; Step- daughters Jennifer Rinehart of Germantown, WI; Joni (Daniel) Wood; Grandchildren Taylor Pendroy, Trenton, and Theodore Dop; Jake Johnson, Chloe, Tessa, and Carter Rasmusson; Kaden Sportsman, Lacey Walters; Virgil McGlothlin, Lilly, and Turnner Wood. He is also survived by two brothers, Clarence Dennison of Kewanee, IL; Ricky (Cheryl) Dennison of Kewanee, IL; a sister Marsha (Rick) Neubauer of Merrill, Wi; two sister-in-laws Linda Dennison of Toulon, IL; Linda Dennison of Altona, IL; and several cousins, Nieces, and Nephews, kids and grandkids he thought of his own.
Along with his brother Steve, Keith was preceded in death by two brothers, Lonny and Bobby Dennison, and his parents. Keith was loved and will be missed by many.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A time to celebrate the life of Keith is scheduled for Saturday, June 25, 2022, from noon until 2:00 PM at the American Legion in Kewanee, IL.
