Kelly Lee Davis Sr.

 Kelly Lee Davis Sr., 57, of Bartonville, passed away on Thursday, September 30, 2021, his residence, surrounded by his family.

Kelly was born on June 12, 1964, in Peoria, a son of Roger and Shirley (Summers) Davis. On Valentine's Day in 1989, he met the love of his life, Mary Arrowood.  Truly a soulmate, they married on April 26th,1996, in Peoria. She survives.  

He is also survived by his father and step mother, Roger and Linda of Peoria; children, Amber Arrowood and Samantha Arrowood, both of Peoria, Jeseca Davis of Washington and Kelly (Maria) Davis Jr. of Peoria; siblings, Michael (Debbie) Davis of Peoria, Jeremy (Atina) Williams of Eureka and Kimberly and Debbie Williams, both of Myrtle Beach, SC; and was proud a PAPA to 12 grandchildren. He is also survived by many family and friends, who considered him a brother and mentor.

Kelly was preceded in death by his mother; his paternal grandparents; and his maternal grandparents, who were very important influences in his life.

He was a jack of all trades. He was a handyman and he could fix anything. Whenever someone would call him, he was always willing to help fix whatever they needed. No matter what the problem was, from computers to cars, he could "figure it out" is what he liked to say. He was very honest and said what was on his mind. His opinions will truly be missed by so many.

A Celebration of Kelly’s Life will be at Bartonville Christian Church, where Mary attended, date to be determined. Cremation rites have been accorded.  

Memorial contributions may be made in Kelly’s memory to Donald and Tanya Varbrough at the Veterans Helping Veterans, 1619 Resthaven Road, Peoria, Illinois 61615. Arrangements have been entrusted to Affordable Funeral and Cremation Services.
