Larry Ralph Heard, 79, of Peoria, IL passed away at 7:50 AM on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at his residence.
He was born on October 1, 1943, in Rockport, IL the son of Ralph and Ethal Grimsley Heard.
Surviving are two sons Roger Heard of North Pekin, IL, Rex (Samantha) Heard of Washington, IL, and one daughter Tammy Heard of Bloomington, IL. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Amber Heard, Connor Heard, Leah Carcasson and Adam Carcasson; two sisters Sandy Summers of Pittsfield, IL, and Sheila Poythress of Florida. His parents and two brothers Rodney Heard and Bud Heard preceded him in death.
He was an honorably discharged U.S. Navy Veteran. He worked as a sheet metal worker for 25 years.
Cremation rites have been accorded and private family services will be held at a later date.
