She was also preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and two brothers.

Marion was a warm and loving woman, a devoted wife, and an amazing mother and grandmother. After graduating from Waller High School in Chicago, IL, she spent most of her working life as a typist for a large insurance company in Chicago, but her real passion was cooking and baking. Her cookies and desserts were legendary!
She was dearly loved by many friends and extended family members and is remembered as one who was always giving and generous with her time and talents.
Though she did not formally belong to a church in Peoria, she loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and is now in His arms. Marion's beautiful smile and happy demeanor will be greatly missed.
The family would like to thank the incredible staff at Grandview Alzheimer's for the tremendous care and love they showed her these past 15 months. We are truly grateful.
By her wishes, no services will be held. Cremation has been accorded.
