Pamela Tucker

Pamela F. Tucker, 79, of Peoria, IL, passed away with family beside her on Sunday, July 2, 2023.

She was born September 28, 1943, to Patricia and Armond Wilson. She married Ronald G. Halverson in 1966, and they welcomed two daughters. Later in life, she married Donald Tucker in 1999.

Pam enjoyed working and helping others. She last worked for Home Instead in Morton, IL. Pam also enjoyed the company of many friends and enjoyed arts and crafts, reading, and music.

Surviving Pam are two daughters, Mona Halverson and (Larry Henson) of East Peoria, and Aimee Burkhalter and (Angie Homerin) of Pekin. She is survived by Seven grandchildren, Matthew Henson-Mayes (Jason Mayes), Amanda Henson and (Josian Caraballo), Sara Henson (Scott Cutter), Cassadia Henson, Christina Henson, Cheyanne Burkhalter, and Jacob Burkhalter. She also is survived by six great-grandchildren, Alannah Lobdell, Landon Henson, Lynlee Cutter, Brielle Cutter, Kade Cutter, and Joshian Caraballo-Henson, along with two sisters, Diana Glueck (Fred) and Denise Eble (John), and many nieces and nephews. Pam is preceded in death by her parents, both of her husbands, a brother, a sister, and a nephew.

Cremation rites have been accorded, and a celebration of life will be held Sunday, July 30, 2023, at Chillicothe Bible Church at 434 W. Moffitt in Chillicothe, IL, at 2 pm. Pastor Joe Horn will officiate. Memorials can be made to The American Heart Association at www.heart.org. Affordable Funeral & Cremation Services of Central Illinois, Peoria is assisting the family with arrangements.
