Rebecca Milen-Rendleman Obituary

ROCK ISLAND - Rebecca Ann Milen-Rendleman, age 65, of Rock Island, IL passed away peacefully on Monday, July 12, 2021, at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria, IL.  She was born September 3, 1955, to Alfred J. and Hazel (Hulsen) Milen.  She married John Rendleman on September 22, 1984.

Those left to honor her memory include her husband, one daughter Samantha (Milen) Weston wife of Rodney Weston and one granddaughter Rylee Weston.  Also surviving are two sisters, Susan Rockwell and Margaret McKay; two brothers, Frank Derrick, and Scott Milen, along with one sister-in-law Marta Burdick.   Her parents and one sister Carol Fauhlhaber preceded her in death.

Rebecca retired from the Rock Island Arsenal.  She enjoyed music, giving to charities, gardening, and talking and spending time with friends and family.

A time to celebrate Rebecca's life will be held Saturday, July 24, 2021, from 9:00 am - 11:00 am at the Hauberg Estate “Tulip Mansion” 1300 24th St, Rock Island, IL 61201. Cremation rites have been accorded. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family. Affordable Funeral & Cremation Services of Central Illinois, Peoria is assisting with arrangements.
