Samantha Pita Painter, age 29, born January 12, 1991, was found deceased in her home in Pekin, IL on Wednesday, April 8, 2020.
She is survived by her grandparents, Vicki (Daniel) Lindee of Bellevue, IL and Vickie Jarrell of Marine, IL; parents Jeremy (Nicole) Painter of Bradford, IL; and siblings Amanda Shrum and Heather Shrum both of Bellevue, IL, and Mark Painter, Megan Painter, Freddy Painter, Julianna Painter, and Aiden Painter all from Bradford, IL. Many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
Samantha is the birth mother of Lola Shae Painter and Layla Nicole Painter both of Bradford, IL, whom also survive.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, James Jarrell of Marine, IL and paternal grandmother, Margaret Painter of Neponset, IL.
Samantha graduated from Illini Bluffs High School. She completed the Medical Office Assistant training program at Midwest Technical Institute. Samantha also attended Illinois Central College and the MTI welding program for a period of time.
Some knew her as “Pinky” due to her love for the color pink. She also embraced all things Princess themed. She enjoyed spending time socializing with others. Samantha also liked to go bowling and fishing when she had the chance. Her smile and laugh were contagious to all who were blessed to uncover it.
Private, closed celebrations of life will be held at later dates.
Our Princess is gone, but will never be forgotten.
