Sondra Malott

Sondra Kay Malott, age 83, of Peoria, IL, loving mother of three, passed away at 6:39 PM Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at St. Clara Rehab and Senior Care in Lincoln, IL, with her family and close lifetime friend (sister) by her side.

She was born on October 26, 1939, in Kewanee, IL, the daughter of Gerald and Cecilia Foley Bryant.

Surviving are one daughter, April Cremer of Peoria, IL; two sons Richard Cremer of Washington, IL; and Kevin Cremer of Morton, IL. She is further survived by seven grandchildren Ashley Proctor of Peoria, IL; Jordan Cremer of Peoria, IL; Markaylah Cremer of Peoria, IL; Jada Howard of Macomb, IL; Chad Cremer of Washington, IL; Jacob Cremer of Peoria, IL, Samantha (Bennett) Riber of Kewanee. IL, seven great-grandchildren, her lifetime friend (sister)Betty Burch of Olathe, KS, and her dog China.

Sondra had a great sense of humor, even at the time of her death. She enjoyed spending time with her family as well as her church family. Sondra loved all animals, but above all, her dog China. She enjoyed going to yard sales, reading books, doing crossword puzzles, playing games, and attending the monthly luncheon with her church family. She looked forward to spending time with her youngest granddaughter Markaylah.

Sondra was a member of the First Christian Church in Creve Coeur, IL.

At the request of Sondra, cremation rites have been accorded, and a celebration of life service will be held at a later date.

They say there is a reason; they say time will heal: Neither time nor reason will change the way we feel. Gone are the days we used to share, but in our hearts, you will always be there. The gates of memories will never close; we miss you more than anybody knows...... Love and miss you every day until we meet again.
