Terry Farnsworth Obituary

Terry Gene Farnsworth, 69, of Morton, IL passed away at 1:50 pm on Thursday, April 30, 2020 at his home He was born on July 24, 1950 in Cresco, IA to Gerald R. and Helen E. (Necas) Farnsworth.  He married Kerry Phillips on September 27, 2008 in Groveland, IL.

Surviving are his wife, Kerry of Morton; five children, Debbie (Wade) Hammel of Whitepine, TN, Tracy (Tracy) Ward, Russell (Jill) Farnsworth, and Lori (Jason) Short all of Manito, IL, Christy Phillips of New York, and Ian Rayner of Morton; thirteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Donald (Nancy) Farnsworth of Conrad, IA and David (Jannet) Farnsworth of Cresco, IA.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Terry was a U.S. Army Veteran serving in the Vietnam War from 1969 to 1971.  He was a retired material specialist for Caterpillar Tractor Company in Morton.  Terry enjoyed riding motorcycles, especially Harley Davidsons, guns, and spending time with friends and family.  Terry have a lot of his time to his church.

Cremation rites have been accorded.  A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date.  No visitation will be held.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Greater Peoria Honor Flight, P.O.
