(1971-2020)

Timothy Shaft Wilson, 48, of Peoria, Il, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home on June 29, 2020, at 12:34 pm. 

Timothy was born on November 18, 1971, to the late Thomas Wilson II and Glenda Allen (Wilson-Evans). 

Timothy married Julia Johnson in Las Vegas, NV, on April 18, 2004. She survives.  

As a child, Timothy was a member of the Peoria Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. He was baptized at an early age.

Timothy was a 1990 graduate of Peoria Manual High School where he ran cross-country, played basketball, and was active in the arts of music & drama.

Timothy leaves loving memories to his mother, Glenda; two sons, Jerome and Alayas/AJ; two daughters, Chronicle and Ajouria; three brothers, Thomas (Tamara), Tyson, and Tyrin (Matou) Wilson; one sister, Misty (Lonial) Beasley. Also surviving: three step-brothers; Lawrence, Fred, and Nate Evans; one God-brother, Clifford Ware, and one granddaughter, Infinity. He also leaves behind a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends. 

Timothy was proceeded in death by his father Thomas Wilson II, step-father, Fred Evans and step-brother Doug Evans. 

Timothy will forever be remembered for his kind heart and contagious smile.

A homegoing memorial will be held at Lakeview Cemetery in Carrier Mills, Il, at a later date due to Covid-19.

Rev. Eddie Jackson, Jr will officiate under the guidance of Dr. Claude Russell, Jr.
