Tim Whiteside

Funeral Director/Owner

Tim, raised in Murphysboro, Illinois learned at an early age an appreciation for a smaller community and interest and care in its people. I am a 1986 graduate of Southern Illinois University-Carbondale with an Associate of Applied Sciences in Mortuary Science & Funeral Service, moving to the Peoria area in May, 1986.

"As a funeral director, I strive to provide the best possible service through remembrance and tribute to lives well lived. Being able to achieve a meaningful funeral experience for each family requires careful listening and attention to detail, as well as an understanding of each family's needs. I am honored to serve the families of Central Illinois through funeral service, death care education and other community activities."

I am married to the former Jan Hansen and together we have four children Abbie, Austin, Caleb and Katie. I am an Illinois Certified Firefighter and served as an Assistant Chief for the Metamora Fire Department. In my spare time I enjoy reading, photography, and collecting antiques.
